About the Role
National General, a subsidiary of Allstate, seeks an experienced RV/Specialty Desk Estimator. This remote position is ideal for candidates in the Central or Eastern Time Zones. The primary responsibility includes estimating material damages for RVs, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles.Responsibilities
- Create or audit damage estimates for 1st and 3rd party claims.
- Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Negotiate settlements and document all actions.
- Evaluate settlement alternatives based on compliance and fair practices.
Requirements
- Advanced estimating skills covering various types of material damage.
- Familiarity with CCC, Duncan (RV), and Adjustrite software is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but equivalent experience may suffice.
Nice to Have
- Professional licensing is advantageous but not required.
