About the Role
The SaaS Patent Solutions Expert role at Questel is a unique opportunity for individuals with a strong background in intellectual property to leverage their expertise in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. As part of the Subject Matter Expert team, you will be responsible for providing technical and business expertise on Questel's SaaS offer, supporting the sales process, and ensuring client success through comprehensive training. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting interactive demonstrations, attending customer meetings, and developing presentations that highlight the benefits of Questel's software solutions.The role is critical to Questel's mission to deliver innovative IP management solutions that meet the evolving needs of its clients. You will work closely with the sales team to identify client needs, develop tailored solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure long-term satisfaction. Your expertise will also be instrumental in driving the adoption of Questel's SaaS offerings, enhancing the company's competitive edge in the market.

What You Will Do
- Conduct interactive demonstrations and create use cases that align with the IP needs of IAM tools users during onsite visits
- Attend customer meetings in support of sales representatives to present Questel's software, including EC+, Equinox Corporate, Equinox Law Firm, and ELF+
- Prepare presentations for seminars, highlighting Questel's software and positioning the company's offer in the market
- Provide customer training for Orbit Invention and Orbit Asset, ensuring clients have a thorough understanding of the software
- Drive the SaaS offer assigned to the SME, raising knowledge among the sales team and all client-facing personnel at Questel
- Support the group's strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and UX designer to describe IAM processes and use cases, providing expert input when needed
- Ensure regular reporting of field information collected during pre-sales and training activities, using insights to improve future interactions
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Questel's SaaS offerings, staying updated on new features, updates, and market trends
- Analyze customer feedback and market intelligence to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in Questel's SaaS solutions
What We Are Looking For
- Master's degree, engineer, or university scientific studies, with a diploma in intellectual property
- Professional experience in IP, preferably in a role such as IP paralegal for a company or law firm, or in IP portfolio management
- Significant experience in using Intellectual Asset Management tools, with a deep understanding of IP processes, operations, data, and administration
- Proficiency in extracting business intelligence from intellectual assets, with a solid understanding of business value chains, processes, and applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convince interlocutors and think creatively
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide solutions to clients and think outside the box
- Ability to help with the migration of client data, working in combination with the integration team
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail, with fluency in English and German
Nice to Have
- Experience in a similar role, supporting sales and providing technical expertise in a SaaS environment
- Knowledge of additional languages, beyond English and German, to support Questel's international client base
- Certification in IP management or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to professional development
- Experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel, to support the development of business intelligence
