About the Role
The Sales Assistant is a vital component of the US sales team, providing administrative support to the VP of Global Sales and ensuring the smooth operation of the department. This role involves working closely with the sales team, coordinating with partners, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from calendar management and travel coordination to preparing sales reports and presentations. You will also be required to maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including CRM data entry and lead tracking. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in this role.
The Sales Assistant will be working closely with the VP of Global Sales and will be expected to provide exceptional support to the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and growing company.
What You Will Do
- Provide administrative support to the VP of Global Sales, including calendar management, scheduling, and travel coordination
- Prepare and update sales reports, presentations, and customer-facing materials for residential and SP accounts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including CRM data entry and lead tracking
- Coordinate with the sales team and partners, including onboarding new partners and managing ongoing communication
- Track SP territory coverage and ensure Basics product line distribution aligns with current SP network policies
- Conduct market and competitor research to support US sales strategy
- Assist with organizing sales campaigns, trade shows, events, and client meetings
- Ensure timely document and information flow between the sales team, operations, and other departments
- Support order processing and client onboarding across residential and SP channels
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support, coordinator, or administrative role
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- CRM experience required; NetSuite or similar ERP a strong plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- High level of accuracy and follow-through
- Calm and professional communication style (written and verbal)
- Experience in building materials, construction, or a product-based industry (preferred)

- Experience with sales operations and customer support
- Knowledge of sales strategies and techniques
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools
- Certification in sales or a related field
