About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative at Kojo, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with prospective customers in the construction industry. Your day-to-day activities will include making outbound calls, building relationships, and guiding potential clients through the sales funnel. This role is crucial to Kojo's mission to transform the construction industry by making buildings easier and cheaper to build.Kojo is a fast-growing construction technology company that has made a significant impact in the industry since its founding in 2018. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, the company is seeking talented and motivated individuals to join its sales team.
The Sales Development Representative role will be working 100% remotely, allowing you to manage your time and resources effectively to meet your monthly quota. You will be reporting to the Manager, Sales Development, and will be an integral part of the sales team.
What You Will Do
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers to discover their business needs and pain points
- Set high-quality meetings with Account Executives and prospective customers
- Achieve or exceed monthly quotas for meetings held and Sales-accepted opportunities
- Follow Kojo workflows and sales operations processes to ensure good funnel and prospect data
- Act as an ambassador for Kojo, representing the company's values and mission
- Manage your time and resources effectively to meet assigned quotas
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and improve overall sales performance
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales team on customer interactions and market trends
What We Are Looking For
- Experience making 75+ cold calls per day in a previous BDR or SDR role
- Effective phone communication skills and rapport-building abilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Growth mindset and willingness to receive and implement feedback
- Persistence, resilience, and ability to handle rejection
- Passion for solving problems and impacting the construction industry
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions to prospective customers
Nice to Have
- 1+ year of full-time experience as a SaaS SDR or similar sales experience
- Experience in the construction industry
- Entrepreneurial experience or background
- Knowledge of sales software and tools, such as CRM systems
