As a Sales Development Representative, your day-to-day activities will involve researching accounts, executing outbound sales strategies, and partnering with Account Executives to develop account plans and generate new business opportunities. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, including Salesforce, Outreach, and Sales Navigator.

What You Will Do

  • Break into new companies and markets using a multi-channel, value-based approach focused on building relationships and driving awareness of Twilio's platform
  • Receive comprehensive training and onboarding to confidently begin contacting prospects and driving sales efforts
  • Achieve and exceed monthly goals for generating new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
  • Become proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, and other essential tools for efficient workflows
  • Research accounts to determine how Twilio's solutions can provide value, then execute outbound dials, personalized emails, and social selling
  • Work in partnership with Account Executives to develop account strategies, territory plans, and successfully generate new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive awareness of Twilio's platform and build relationships with potential clients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, including cloud communications and sales intelligence
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Twilio's products and services to effectively communicate value to potential clients
