About the Role

The Sales Development Representative role at LearnTastic is a pivotal position that requires a unique blend of sales acumen, digital savvy, and interpersonal skills. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new leads, managing sales pipelines, and handing off qualified opportunities to the outside sales team. Your day-to-day activities will be focused on building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, utilizing all available sales prospecting tools, systems, and resources.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and develop new leads and opportunities, including entry into new markets
  • Utilize all available sales prospecting tools, systems, and resources to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Maintain a strong focus on assigned market segments to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Create, maintain, and communicate sales activity and customer development reports
  • Follow the sales playbook from initial prospecting through opportunity qualification to ensure consistency and pipeline growth
  • Work with assigned company accounts to develop relationships, identify needs, and support ongoing sales efforts
  • Enter all customer interactions into the CRM system throughout the day
  • Maintain and update the company sales database to support sales initiatives and data integrity
  • Prepare customer product expectations and pricing quotations in coordination with internal teams as needed
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to improve back-office processes and enhance the overall customer experience
  • Develop product and application knowledge to effectively address customer needs and promote new or additional services

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in inside sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong prospecting, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales prospecting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments
  • Fluency in the English language; written and verbal proficiency (B2 level minimum on CEFR scale)
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
