About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative at Gitlab, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding the company's presence in the market. You will be responsible for leading the initial outreach to targeted accounts, working closely with the Field and Digital Marketing teams to introduce GitLab's value proposition. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team and contribute to the company's mission to revolutionize the way software is developed.Gitlab is a leader in the DevSecOps platform market, enabling organizations to increase developer productivity, improve operational efficiency, and reduce security and compliance risk. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of this effort, working to identify and engage with key decision-makers at target accounts.
What You Will Do
- Effectively manage inbound lead flow and conduct high-level discovery conversations with target accounts
- Meet or exceed SDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets
- Collaborate with teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities
- Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts
- Work to have a variety of touches (call, email, social, etc.) on all leads in your assigned territory using Outreach.io
- Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce
- Participate in documenting all processes in the GitLab handbook and update as needed with your Sales Development Manager
- Act as a mentor for new SDR hires in helping them navigate their key accounts
- Leverage creative marketing and sales tactics to prospect and engage with multiple buyer personas and roles

- Fluency in Portuguese is required
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements

- Experience with Salesforce, Adjust, and Excel
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles
