About the Role
The Sales Development Representative role at Ramp is a critical component of the company's world-class sales organization. As a key point of contact, you will be responsible for hunting and qualifying leads to build sales opportunities for the team. This role requires a self-motivated individual with high social intelligence and a natural inclination for selling, who can accelerate Ramp's growth during a period of rapid scaling.Day-to-day, you will source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach, leveraging consultative selling techniques and BANT criteria to qualify prospects. You will be part of a dynamic team that values high agency and urgency, where every member is a builder who owns problems end-to-end and makes consequential decisions.
What You Will Do
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach
- Qualify prospects through consultative selling, leveraging BANT criteria
- Grow the top of the sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns
- Research companies and add prospects to the outbound list
- Maintain accurate client relationship data within Salesforce
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Ramp's products and services to effectively communicate value to potential clients
- Participate in ongoing training to improve sales skills and knowledge of sales tools and processes
- Analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets

- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
- Ability to understand financial services and how they relate to Ramp's solutions

- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university
