About the Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Veem is a pivotal position that drives pipeline growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their sales career who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to grow within a fintech organization. The SDR will work closely with sales leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams during onboarding and training.As part of the sales team, the SDR will be responsible for outbound outreach to potential clients, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings for Account Executives. This involves maintaining accurate records of sales activity and pipeline updates in HubSpot, researching target companies and decision-makers, and building outbound cadences.

What You Will Do
- Prospect and identify potential B2B clients through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels)
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline updates in HubSpot
- Research target companies and decision-makers within fintech, payments, and related industries
- Build and manage outbound cadences and follow-up sequences
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve outreach effectiveness
- Consistently achieve activity and pipeline generation targets
- Stay informed on industry trends, fintech terminology, and payment solutions
- Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and prospect engagement strategies
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and refine sales strategies
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or inside sales
- Experience working in a B2B environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through
- Working knowledge of HubSpot CRM
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a high-growth environment
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking technology, or financial services is a plus
- Familiarity with payment instruments and fintech terminology
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI tools, AI-assisted sales workflows, or automation tools
- Familiarity with payment solutions and fintech platforms
- Experience working in startups or scaling companies
