About the Role

At Twilio, the Sales Development Representative plays a crucial role in driving new business opportunities and growing the sales pipeline. As a key member of the Sales Development organization, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business leads, building relationships with potential customers, and working closely with the Account Executives to develop account strategies.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for many potential customers, and your ability to build relationships and drive awareness of Twilio's platform will be critical to the company's success.

What You Will Do

  • Break into new companies and markets using a multi-channel, value-based approach focused on building relationships and driving awareness of Twilio's platform
  • Receive comprehensive training and insights to confidently begin contacting prospects through Twilio's SDR onboarding experience
  • Achieve and exceed monthly goals for generating new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
  • Become proficient in using Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, and other tools essential for efficient workflows
  • Research accounts to determine how Twilio's solutions can provide value, then execute outbound dials, personalized emails, and social selling
  • Work in partnership with Account Executives to develop account strategies, territory plans, and successfully generate new business opportunities
  • Collaborate daily with the Sales Development team to share best practices and drive results
  • Continuously learn and improve your skills and knowledge of the industry and Twilio's products
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform your sales strategy and optimize your workflow
