About the Role

The Sales Development Representative role at Welocalize is a pivotal position that requires a deep understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. As a key member of the sales team, this individual will be responsible for driving business growth, managing existing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in customer-centric sales methodology and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Day-to-day, the Sales Development Representative will work closely with the existing sales team to ensure seamless customer care and support the growth of new business. This will involve conducting research to identify potential new clients, analyzing sales data to inform business development strategies, and presenting proposals to senior managers and decision-makers. The ability to work independently and as part of a global team is essential, as is a strong bias towards data-based decision making.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and support existing client relationships
  • Analyze sales data to inform business development strategies and optimize sales performance
  • Present proposals to senior managers and decision-makers, both internally and externally
  • Draft and deliver sales reports, including sales forecasts, plans, and pipeline analysis
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage customer data, sales pipelines, and business development activities
  • Collaborate with the global sales team to align sales strategies and share best practices
  • Prospect new clients to develop and maintain a healthy working relationship with Welocalize
  • Coordinate and respond to RFP/RFQ/RFI responses in a timely and professional manner
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of business-to-business sales experience in professional services or technology solutions
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of customer-centric sales methodology
  • Experience with lead generation, key account targeting, and sales strategy development
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and inform business decisions
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to present proposals and negotiate deals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, with a strong bias towards data-based decision making
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel, with experience managing customer data and sales pipelines
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the sales process and business development principles

Nice to Have

  • 5 years of enterprise-level sales experience in the localization, financial, or legal verticals
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute on a successful business development strategy
  • Experience working with senior managers and decision-makers, both internally and externally
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational analysis, with the ability to inform business decisions
  • Certification in sales or a related field, such as a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP)
