About the Role

The Sales Development Representative role at Andela is a critical component of the company's sales strategy, focused on identifying and creating new qualified opportunities within assigned segments. As a key member of the sales team, you will partner with Sales Executives to drive revenue growth and expand Andela's presence in the global market. Your day-to-day activities will involve building and managing comprehensive stakeholder maps, producing and delivering prospecting strategies, and creating and scheduling qualified meetings for Account Executives.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with Sales Executives to identify new opportunities within targeted accounts
  • Build and manage comprehensive stakeholder maps by function and influence
  • Produce, deliver, and iterate prospecting strategies with marketing campaigns, email, social media, cold calling, and qualification conversations
  • Create, schedule, and manage attendance of qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Assist and support Andela's marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for appropriate follow-up, qualification, and responsiveness to assigned inbound inquiries
  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly/and quarterly targets (new opportunities generated, meetings held, attributions to revenue closed won)
  • Actively participate and contribute to Sales Team related standups and meetings
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine sales strategies
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of work experience in sales or a related field
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders and sales activities
  • Desire to pursue a career in sales, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling emails, social media posts, and sales calls
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and frameworks, such as Challenger Selling or Solution Selling
