Job Description

About the Role

The Sales Director for Sodexo's Seniors segment is a pivotal role that drives net-new revenue across parts of the central US. This position involves the full sales cycle, from market mapping and prospecting to discovery, solution development, proposal delivery, negotiation, and contract signature. The ideal candidate will be an executive seller with a proven track record of success, able to lead through compelling storytelling and articulate a clear, differentiated narrative that inspires clients to act.

As a key member of the team, the Sales Director will partner with operations, culinary, clinical, and finance teams to craft compelling solutions that improve resident experience, drive outcomes, and create measurable value for senior living and senior care providers. This role requires someone who can build long-term partnerships and mobilize internal teams as a unified force to win together.

The Sales Director will be responsible for researching prospective organizations to identify the right customer stakeholders to sell to, investigating and analyzing new business opportunities, and developing and maintaining positive business relationships with potential clients. This role involves building both internal and external networks, examining client needs to maximize business and/or solutions for business concerns, and performing cost-benefits and needs analysis.

What You Will Do

  • Research prospective organizations to identify the right customer stakeholders to sell to.
  • Investigate and analyze new business opportunities; develop and maintain positive business relationships with potential clients.
  • Build both internal and external networks to drive sales growth.
  • Examine client needs to maximize business and/or solutions for business concerns; perform cost-benefits and needs analysis.
  • Develop and implement the business plan, budget, and forecasts to achieve sales, market share, hit rate, and market growth targets to attain overall financial goals.
  • Lead the development of sales presentations, proposals, and assist in the development of contractual sales documents.
  • Research growth strategies and competitor practices and strategies to evaluate and implement new strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Experience working with Excel for market analysis and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time.
  • Residency in one of the following states: OH, KY, TN, AL, MS, LA, AR, OK, or KS.
