About the Role

The Sales Executive Lead for commercial lending solutions is a pivotal role at FIS, focusing on driving the adoption of the company's commercial lending software and services among financial institutions. As a seasoned sales professional, you will leverage your complex sales capabilities and experience in promoting commercial lending software to deliver value to your assigned account territory. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including pre-sales, marketing, technology, and professional services, to demonstrate the value proposition of FIS's solutions and services.

The commercial lending suite at FIS is designed to support the entire loan lifecycle, offering flexible and fully integrated components for all loan types, from SBA loans to syndicated loans. What You Will Do

  • Build a book of business through proactive prospecting, resulting in meeting or exceeding annual quota targets through sales to new and existing customers.
  • Leverage research skills, intra-company contacts, and market data to qualify prospects and develop a targeted client list.
  • Utilize strong lead generation capabilities to penetrate client organizations at all levels, including the C-suite.
  • Identify different buyer motivations across various client bases and levels to expand potential revenue drivers.
  • Incorporate customer perspective, drivers, and product/service relevancy to deliver persuasive client presentations.
  • Demonstrate customer advocacy by emphasizing the features and benefits of FIS software and service offerings that meet specific customer needs.
  • Utilize the FIS CRM system to manage customer interactions, report sales stages, and maintain accuracy in pipeline forecasting.
  • Continually acquire deeper technology and industry knowledge to deliver product presentations and answer prospect questions.
  • Leverage product, industry, and business process knowledge to formulate business solutions that serve prospect business needs.
  • Maintain a network of contacts to keep product knowledge current and build an accurate pipeline and deal forecast.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive with a focus on commercial lending software and services.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully promoting and selling commercial lending software and services into financial institutions.
  • Strong complex sales capabilities and experience in managing client relationships across complex client organizations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to utilize CRM systems for managing customer interactions and pipeline forecasting.
  • Strong lead generation and prospecting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
