The Sales Lead position at This Week in Fintech, a subsidiary of Plaid, is a pivotal role that involves managing media sales and advertising campaigns across various platforms, including newsletters, podcasts, events, and sponsored content. This role is crucial for the growth of the company, as it requires building and maintaining relationships with key clients in the fintech, crypto, finance, and venture capital sectors. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in advertising and media sales, eager to build and grow their own book of business.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include prospecting and pitching to potential clients, developing and presenting compelling advertising solutions, and managing post-sale client relationships to drive recurring revenue. The Sales Lead will be the frontline ambassador for the This Week in Fintech brand, opening doors, pitching creative solutions, and building long-term partnerships with some of the most influential names in the industry.

What You Will Do
- Build and manage a complete sales pipeline, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and managing post-sale client relationships.
- Develop and present compelling advertising solutions and media packages tailored to meet the marketing objectives of prospective clients.
- Become an expert on audience data, media products, and the competitive landscape to effectively position This Week in Fintech as the premier media partner in the industry.
- Work closely with the content and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client campaigns and deliver maximum value to sponsors.
