About the Role

As a Sales Manager of Strategic Accounts in the Northeastern US, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer success. Your day-to-day will involve recruiting, training, and mentoring a team of talented Account Executives, as well as directly contributing to the closure of complex deals. You will be the linchpin between the sales team and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to drive business objectives forward.

What You Will Do

  • Directly manage a team of Account Executives to achieve sales targets and expand Airtable's presence in the Northeastern US market
  • Recruit, hire, and train new team members to ensure the sales team's continued growth and success
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at strategic accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales enablement tools and processes
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to the sales team on best practices and industry trends
  • Manage and report quarterly sales forecasts, planning, and budgeting
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Identify and mitigate sales risks, developing contingency plans as necessary

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company, with a focus on strategic account management
  • 3+ years of people management experience, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and methodologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales performance metrics
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the technology industry
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
