About the Role
The Sales Operations Manager role at Sentry is a critical component of the company's sales strategy, responsible for driving growth and optimizing sales performance. As a key member of the sales operations team, this individual will work closely with sales leadership to develop and implement sales plans, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement. What You Will Do
- Develop and manage sales capacity planning models to support headcount decisions and attainment projections
- Lead quota setting processes, building models, analyzing historical performance, and partnering with leadership to finalize targets
- Design and maintain territory assignments, ensuring balanced coverage and equitable opportunity distribution across the sales team
- Drive weekly forecast management, building and delivering ad hoc analyses across pipeline health, bookings, renewals, quota attainment, and deal metrics
- Partner with sales leadership to translate data into clear narratives and recommendations for QBRs, board prep, and internal reviews
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive reporting tasks, and surface insights faster
- Serve as the primary sales-facing point of contact for the revenue tech stack, fielding questions on account ownership, Gong Forecast/Engage, lead routing, and related tooling
- Triage and resolve day-to-day system issues for sales reps, escalating to RevOps engineers or vendors as appropriate
- Partner on new tool evaluations, from requirements gathering and vendor assessment to pilot design and rollout
- Contribute to building out the standardized reporting layer in Looker and Hex, creating dashboards that give sales leaders real-time visibility into performance
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, with a focus on sales planning, forecasting, and analytics
- Strong background in managing sales planning, forecasting, and analytics, with experience in developing and implementing sales plans
- Experience with Salesforce and other sales enablement tools, with the ability to leverage AI-powered tools to drive sales growth
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex sales data and identify areas for improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with sales leadership and other stakeholders
- Strong understanding of sales operations best practices, with experience in managing sales processes and optimizing sales performance
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field

- Experience with Looker and Hex, with the ability to build and maintain dashboards and reports
- Knowledge of AI-powered sales tools, with experience in implementing and managing AI-driven sales strategies
