About the Role

The Sales Quoting Specialist role at Applied Systems is a unique opportunity to work closely with sales teams and develop deep expertise in the company's offerings. As a key member of the Sales and Contract Administration team, you will be responsible for generating and editing sales proposals, managing the contract lifecycle, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution. Your day-to-day work will involve partnering with sales consultants to understand client needs, guiding proposals through order processing steps, and maintaining accurate data within Salesforce.

The role is remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States. What You Will Do

  • Work with Sales to understand client needs and identify appropriate product SKUs
  • Generate and edit Sales Proposals for Sales Consultants
  • Guide proposals through appropriate order processing steps
  • Enter and maintain accurate data within Salesforce and CPQ
  • Step in on other activities as needed to enable Applied's sellers and customers
  • Develop deep expertise in Applied's offerings to serve as a resource for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Billing, and Legal
  • Take pride in your domain and bring a proactive ownership mentality to your work
  • Welcome challenges and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for customers
  • Maintain a service-oriented mindset with a bias toward action

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-3 years of contract administration or sales support experience
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel and Word)
  • Experience using Salesforce and/or Salesforce CPQ
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working proactively across competing priorities and timelines
  • Service-oriented mindset with a bias toward action
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
