About the Role
The Sales Representative role at First American is a dynamic position that involves identifying new business revenue opportunities and generating sales through in-person presentations and closing skills. As part of the DataTrace team, you will be responsible for developing and retaining a quality residential client base, comprising Title Agents, Brokers, Lenders, Builders, Attorneys, and others. Your primary goal will be to attain maximum sales volume and develop maximum potential volume from all markets for DataTrace products and services.As a key member of the sales team, you will be expected to collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop local marketing content, drive brand awareness, and support the sales strategy. Your ability to listen to customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions will be crucial in building strong relationships and driving revenue growth.
The role requires a strong understanding of the real estate industry, market trends, and competitor activity. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry developments, identify external threats and opportunities, and adapt your sales strategy accordingly.
What You Will Do
- Meet sales quotas or revenue targets as set by management
- Identify and generate new business revenue opportunities
- Develop and retain a quality residential client base
- Build client relationships and service customer needs throughout the sales cycle
- Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
- Develop and execute a call plan for qualified real estate agents, brokers, and their staff
- Assess individual client needs and develop, present, and implement a plan to meet those needs
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop local marketing content and social media presence
- Create or adapt and deliver presentations to customer groups, target customers, agents, and others
- Interact daily with other work groups, including Operations, Marketing, and Escrow branches
