Job Description
## About the Role As a Salesforce Developer at Gitlab, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing the company's Zuora Configure-Price-Quote solution. This will involve configuring, customizing, and maintaining a scalable CPQ platform that supports accurate quoting, subscription management, and reliable data flow across systems such as Salesforce and other integrated finance tools. You will work closely with business stakeholders and the Enterprise Applications Engineering team to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, build and refine integrations, and ensure the product catalog and pricing models can support rapid growth.
The role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce development and CPQ, as well as the ability to collaborate with onshore and non-US teams. You will also support data migration and reporting efforts, and troubleshoot high-impact issues in production environments. ## What You Will Do - Configure, customize, and extend Zuora CPQ to support accurate quoting, subscription lifecycle management, and scalable Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Design and maintain complex Zuora product catalogs and rate plan configurations, including pricing models, rules, and quote templates aligned to business needs.
- Implement, optimize, and support scalable integrations between Zuora CPQ, Zuora Billing, Salesforce (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud), and other core finance systems using REST APIs, Apex, and related tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions and ensure the product catalog and pricing models can support rapid growth.
- Support data migration and reporting efforts, and troubleshoot high-impact issues in production environments.
- Work closely with the Enterprise Applications Engineering team to build and refine integrations and ensure reliable data flow across systems.
- Incorporate AI into daily workflows to drive efficiency, innovation, and impact.
- Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Salesforce and CPQ, and apply this knowledge to improve the company's Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and CPQ, including data modeling, workflow, and integration with other systems.
- Experience with Zuora CPQ, including configuration, customization, and maintenance of complex product catalogs and rate plan configurations.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, Apex, and related tools for integrating Zuora CPQ with other systems.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot high-impact issues in production environments.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
