SAP EWM Functional Consultant - Implementation & Maintenance (Configuration) - R

About the Role

The SAP EWM Functional Consultant will work closely with the business users to gather and analyze logistics and warehousing requirements, design and implement tailored SAP EWM solutions, and provide training and support to ensure a seamless integration with other SAP modules. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, technical, and client stakeholders, to drive the implementation effort and provide ongoing support.

As part of the RTX team, the SAP EWM Functional Consultant will be working on a large-scale implementation project, with the goal of harmonizing key business processes and migrating capabilities into standardized ERP systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading Aerospace and Defense company and contribute to the success of their Process & Systems Transformation program.

What You Will Do

• Conduct workshops to demonstrate standard SAP EWM processes and gather logistics and warehousing requirements from business users
• Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions tailored to enterprise needs
• Lead the implementation effort by training, writing functional specifications, testing (SIT/UAT), performing go-live, and providing post-implementation support
• Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules, such as SD, PP, QM, and with 3rd party systems
• Optimize core warehouse processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, GR, putaway, stock transfers, picking, packing, and shipping
• Work with the Global Trade and Services team for integration
• Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, technical, and client stakeholders
• Manage multiple tasks independently and provide proactive support in a dynamic environment

What We Are Looking For

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
• SAP EWM functional experience, including proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, EWM configuration (inbound, outbound, transfers, RF framework, Value Added Services, LOSC/POSC, handling unit management, serial numbers, kitting, Material Flow Systems)
• Strong understanding of business processes and logistics functions
• Good project management skills and ability to effectively interface with business stakeholders
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and configuration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP EWM implementation and configuration in a large-scale environment
• Knowledge of other SAP modules, such as SD, PP, and QM
• Experience with 3rd party systems integration
• Certification in SAP EWM or related fields
• Experience working in an Aerospace and Defense company
