Job Description

About the Role

The SAP Hybris + SAP Spartacus role at Brillio involves developing and implementing cutting-edge e-commerce solutions for clients across the globe. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications using SAP Commerce Cloud, with a strong focus on the Spartacus frontend framework. Your expertise in SAP Hybris, combined with your knowledge of Angular, will enable you to create seamless customer experiences. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that your solutions are not only functional but also scalable and maintainable.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, leveraging your experience with SAP Commerce Cloud and your understanding of object-oriented analysis and design. You will also be involved in the full development lifecycle process, from discovery to rollout, ensuring that your solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

What You Will Do

  • Develop e-commerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud, focusing on the Spartacus frontend framework
  • Design and implement applications that provide seamless customer experiences
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that solutions are scalable and maintainable
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle process, from discovery to rollout
  • Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and other testing to ensure the quality of your solutions
  • Work with RDBMS, including ORM and SQL
  • Develop SOA applications or integrate systems with 3rd party dependencies via RESTful APIs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest versions of SAP Commerce Cloud and Spartacus
  • Participate in Agile development teams, contributing to sprint planning and backlog refinement
  • Develop complex web applications using Angular, with a focus on module organization and component architecture

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), including experience with versions released in the last 1-2 years
  • Strong understanding of application design and software development principles
  • Proficiency in object-oriented analysis and design
  • Hands-on experience in development functionality accompanied by unit tests, integration tests, etc.
  • Experience with RDBMS, including ORM and SQL
  • Extensive experience in building either SOA applications or integrating systems with many 3rd party dependencies via RESTful APIs
  • Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle process from discovery to rollout
  • Experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions, including having fully participated in and successfully delivered at least 1 project end-to-end
  • Experience working in Agile development teams
  • Certification in SAP Commerce Cloud is mandatory
  • Experience with SAP Spartacus frontend (Angular) is mandatory

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud based on Microsoft Azure (CCv2)
  • Experience upgrading SAP Commerce Cloud solutions in production to newer versions of SAP Commerce Cloud
  • Proven track record of developing complex web applications using Angular (Angular 2+)
  • Experience migrating SAP Commerce Cloud solutions in production from on-premise or from SAP private cloud (CCv1) to Microsoft Azure (CCv2)
  • Experience with the broader SAP Customer Experience (SAP CX) portfolio
