About the Role
The SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems Consultant role at KATBOTZ is a remote position that requires a highly skilled professional to support enterprise project management and ERP transformation initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with project managers, finance teams, operations leaders, and cross-functional SAP teams to design, configure, test, and deploy SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems solutions. Your expertise in project planning, budgeting, cost tracking, revenue recognition, resource management, and capital projects will be essential in driving effective project execution and financial control.Day-to-day, you will lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, gather business requirements, and design and configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems processes. Your ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring seamless integration between project execution and financial processes.
What You Will Do
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and gather business requirements
- Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems processes, including project structures, project planning, and scheduling
- Configure project profiles, coding structures, and financial controls
- Participate in SAP Activate implementation projects and prepare functional specifications and process documentation
- Support project-related master data and migration activities
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support cutover planning, deployment, and go-live activities
- Collaborate closely with finance, controlling, procurement, manufacturing, and sales teams
- Ensure seamless integration between project execution and financial processes
- Provide post-go-live support and hypercare
- Troubleshoot project system and process issues
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of SAP PS consulting experience
- Minimum 2 SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation projects
- Strong expertise in project structures, project budgeting, cost planning, and tracking
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology and conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops
- Strong understanding of project accounting and project lifecycle management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment
Nice to Have
- SAP S/4HANA Cloud Certification in Project Systems or Finance
- Experience with Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM)
- Experience supporting global and multi-country implementations
- Experience in engineering, construction, utilities, manufacturing, energy, or professional services industries
