## About the Role As a School Crossing Patrol, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of children as they cross the road to and from school. ## What You Will Do - Stop traffic to allow children to cross the road safely - Be aware of any potential hazards or dangers in the area - Utilize Excel skills to maintain records and reports - Provide excellent customer service to parents, children, and members of the public - Work independently, but as part of a larger team - Undertake job-related training as required - Demonstrate knowledge of road safety and traffic awareness - Use own initiative while following procedures - Provide a visible presence to deter traffic violations - Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff - Participate in meetings and training sessions as required
