About the Role
The Script Writer is a key creative role at Martell Media, responsible for crafting compelling copy, captions, scripts, and written assets that resonate with audiences across various platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance brand consistency with the need for innovative and engaging content. The ideal candidate will be a versatile writer who can adapt to different brand voices and formats, from social media captions to long-form scripts and promotional copy. As a Script Writer at Martell Media, you will be part of a dynamic team that values growth, simplicity, and leadership. You will work closely with the Social Producer and Creative Producer to ensure that your written content aligns with visual direction, platform strategy, and audience expectations. Your goal will be to maintain brand consistency while leveraging AI tools to increase output, accelerate ideation, and improve workflow efficiency without compromising quality or authenticity.What You Will Do
- Write platform-native captions for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Threads
- Develop compelling hooks, CTAs, and caption structures that drive engagement and retention
- Adapt tone, structure, and formatting based on platform-specific best practices
- Maintain a strong and consistent brand voice across all channels
- Write or refine scripts for YouTube episodes, short-form videos, and branded content
- Develop repeatable written frameworks for recurring content formats and series
- Support the Creative Producer with written briefs, outlines, and episode structures
- Write titles, descriptions, and metadata optimized for SEO, AEO, and GEO discoverability
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging with funnel strategy and campaign goals
- Support paid ad creative copy when needed in collaboration with marketing
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in script writing, copywriting, or content creation
- Strong portfolio that showcases your writing skills and versatility
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage your time effectively
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and grammar
- Familiarity with AI tools and workflows to accelerate content creation
- Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and audience expectations
- Ability to adapt to different brand voices and formats
- Experience with SEO, AEO, and GEO discoverability

- Experience with video production and editing
