About the Role

As a Search Engine Optimization Specialist at Solventum, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that improve organic visibility, drive qualified traffic, and support business growth across the Health Information Systems business globally. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including integrated marketing, product marketing, marketing communications, and web stakeholders, to translate search insights into actionable recommendations and measurable business outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute search engine optimization strategies to improve organic visibility and drive qualified traffic
  • Identify and apply generative engine optimization best practices to improve discoverability in AI-powered search, answer engines, and conversational discovery experiences
  • Conduct keyword, content, and competitive research to uncover opportunities and inform optimization priorities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate search insights into actionable recommendations and measurable business outcomes
  • Lead the digital asset upload and metadata management process within the Digital Asset Management system to improve asset quality, governance, and discoverability
  • Collaborate with the web development team to ensure technical SEO best practices are implemented across the website
  • Analyze and report on search engine optimization performance, providing data-driven insights to inform future strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithms, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and manage SEO budgets, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve business objectives
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on search engine optimization best practices and strategies

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • At least seven years of hands-on experience in SEO, digital marketing, website optimization, content strategy, or a related field
  • Experience with core SEO disciplines, including keyword strategy, on-page optimization, metadata development, technical SEO fundamentals, content performance analysis, and internal linking
  • Proficiency in SEMrush and other SEO tools
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, including Google’s algorithm updates
  • Experience with digital asset management systems and metadata management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and drive insights
  • Experience with content management systems and web development principles

Nice to Have

  • Experience with generative engine optimization and optimizing content for AI-driven search
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript
  • Experience with data analysis tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Certification in SEO or digital marketing, such as Google Analytics certification
