About the Role

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will play a crucial role in driving the online presence of Next Step Systems' clients. As a key member of the digital marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies that boost website rankings, drive organic traffic, and maximize conversions. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients achieve their online goals, whether it's increasing brand visibility, generating leads, or driving sales.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical SEO, paid search management, and Google AdWords. You will be working closely with the team to analyze website performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions to optimize campaign results. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work independently will be essential in delivering high-quality results and building strong relationships with clients.

What You Will Do

  • Provide expert-level SEO guidance on keyword research, on-site optimization, link building, and content development
  • Develop and execute tactical and strategic deliverables around link building, content creation, and site analysis
  • Implement on-site and off-site SEO tactics for new and existing projects
  • Conduct monthly web analytics reports for clients, providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Manage Google AdWords accounts, including keyword research, ad copywriting, campaign optimization, and results analysis
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in SEO, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and algorithm updates
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm innovative SEO strategies and solutions
  • Optimize social media presence and implement user acquisition strategies
  • Perform directory cleanup and citation building to improve local search rankings
  • Analyze website performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Technical SEO and paid search management experience
  • Expert knowledge of SEO best practices and Google AdWords
  • Experience managing PPC campaigns and analyzing results
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Google Webmaster, and Google Analytics
  • HTML skills and experience with web development
  • Digital marketing agency experience preferred
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms
