Job Description

## About the Role As a Security & Audit Solution Architect at Genesys, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's global customer base by providing expert security advisory services. You will be part of the Global Security, Privacy & Compliance Centre of Excellence (COE SPC) team, serving as the single point of contact for all security, privacy, and compliance-related field engagements within the Genesys Cloud Business Unit. This is a highly technical, customer-facing position that requires deep understanding of cloud security, AI security trends, and the ability to analyze and present technical evidence.

The COE SPC team is responsible for accelerating growth by delivering empathetic, personalized experiences at scale, driving customer loyalty, workforce engagement, efficiency, and operational improvements. As a key member of this team, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams to ensure the security and compliance of Genesys Cloud services.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including sales, pre-sales, customers, and partners, to provide security advisory services and support. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and emerging threats, and for developing and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.

## What You Will Do - Act as the technical SME for Genesys Cloud customer audits, providing expert security advisory services to support the global team.

  • Serve as the internal escalation point for penetration testing-related discussions.
  • Lead advanced technical discussions with customers, prospects, partners, and auditors to defend Genesys Cloud AI security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Demonstrate control-level understanding across frameworks (SOC 2, PCI, etc.) and explain evidence showing how Genesys Cloud security controls are implemented.
  • Interpret and present technical evidence (logs, configurations, architecture diagrams, policies, automation artefacts) for audits and assessments.
  • Support security reviews and penetration testing discussions.
  • Build strong knowledge of Genesys Cloud AI capabilities and its security and compliance considerations.
  • Respond to security inquiries and act as the internal escalation point for penetration testing-related discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and compliance of Genesys Cloud services.
## What We Are Looking For - Strong understanding of AWS cloud security and SaaS shared responsibility models.
  • Ability to discuss cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and DevSecOps controls from a security perspective.
  • Understanding of AI security trends and emerging cloud threats.
  • Experience with threat lead penetration testing (TLPT).
  • Proficiency in Excel and other productivity tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a security-related field, with a focus on cloud security and compliance.
## Nice to Have - Experience with cloud security platforms and tools, such as AWS Security Hub and Azure Security Center.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Certification in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Azure Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools, such as Python and PowerShell.
