Job Description

About the Role

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a skilled Security Engineer ISSO to oversee security for cloud platform implementations aimed at government clients.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary security authority for secure cloud projects.
  • Develop and maintain Information System Security Plans (ISSP).
  • Lead security control assessments and monitoring initiatives.
  • Collaborate with government security officers to ensure system authorization.
  • Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and conduct security assessments per NIST 800-53.
  • Manage Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) for security remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP and FISMA standards.
  • Design security architecture for multi-cloud environments.
  • Configure security monitoring and incident response strategies.
  • Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines for continuous monitoring.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in security oversight for cloud solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of NIST 800-53 and DoD security standards.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native security measures such as encryption and IAM.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience with DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Certifications related to security management or cloud architecture.
