About the Role
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a skilled Security Engineer ISSO to oversee security for cloud platform implementations aimed at government clients.Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary security authority for secure cloud projects.
- Develop and maintain Information System Security Plans (ISSP).
- Lead security control assessments and monitoring initiatives.
- Collaborate with government security officers to ensure system authorization.
- Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and conduct security assessments per NIST 800-53.
- Manage Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) for security remediation.
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP and FISMA standards.
- Design security architecture for multi-cloud environments.
- Configure security monitoring and incident response strategies.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines for continuous monitoring.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in security oversight for cloud solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of NIST 800-53 and DoD security standards.
- Familiarity with cloud-native security measures such as encryption and IAM.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with DevSecOps methodologies.
- Certifications related to security management or cloud architecture.
