About the Role
As a Security Engineer for Product & Production Infrastructure at Wiz, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our products and infrastructure. You will be responsible for performing security reviews, vulnerability management, and threat modeling to identify and mitigate potential risks. Our team is committed to delivering secure-by-design solutions, and we are looking for a skilled security professional to join our ranks.The role entails collaborating with our software development and DevOps teams to secure our CI/CD infrastructure and production environment. You will have the opportunity to influence our product roadmap and utilize Wiz-for-Wiz to assess, monitor, and harden our environments. As a key member of our team, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure solutions and protect our customers' infrastructure.

What You Will Do
- Lead threat modeling and security review exercises across Wiz's production and CI/CD environments
- Identify and mitigate risks in our products and the cloud services that support them
- Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts, prioritizing issues and implementing mitigations
- Extend our detection and response capabilities, building scalable solutions to identify malicious activity
- Collaborate with our engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions
- Influence our product roadmap by utilizing Wiz-for-Wiz to assess, monitor, and harden our environments
- Participate in security audits and compliance activities
- Develop and maintain documentation of security processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our security posture
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations work in cloud environments
- Experience with AWS platforms and services, including IAM and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of secure development and application of IAC solutions, such as Terraform and Helm
- Experience with cloud-native observability and management tools
- Development experience in languages such as Go, Python, and Rust
- Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
- Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Experience working in organizations that develop software and/or operate managed infrastructure and technology services for their own customers
- Certification in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty
