About the Role

The Select Commercial Lines Account Manager plays a vital role in delivering exceptional client experiences. As a key member of the Commercial Lines Service team, you will partner closely with Account Executives to design, support, and execute tailored insurance solutions for a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. Your expertise will be crucial in managing and interpreting data, ensuring accurate documentation within agency management systems, and driving smooth and successful renewals.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with Account Executives to prepare submissions, exposure summaries, proposals, coverage summaries, and binding documentation
  • Support informed risk placement by drafting loss exhibits and proactively obtaining loss runs directly from carriers
  • Coordinate accurate and timely certificates and proofs of insurance for clients and partners
  • Maintain precise, up-to-date records in the system of record to protect data integrity and team efficiency
  • Perform quality control of insurance program documentation, including policies, endorsements, audits, and claims
  • Drive smooth and successful renewals by partnering closely with Account Executives
  • Ensure compliance with established processes and procedural guidance
  • Manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, Account Executives, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to continuously improve insurance solutions

What We Are Looking For

  • Two or more years of experience in a Property and Casualty brokerage environment
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance and the ability to follow processes and procedural guidance
  • Effective time management and task prioritization skills to meet deadlines
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Insurance licenses, or willingness to obtain them as required
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with agency management systems and insurance software
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
  • Certification in insurance or a related field, such as CPCU or ARM
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
