Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Account Executive, Enterprise role at Fivetran is a full-time, remote position based in Germany, focusing on generating new business pipeline and expansion in the Enterprise segment. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. Your day-to-day activities will include working with Tech Partners, SI Partners, and XDRs to identify and pursue new business opportunities, as well as managing 90-180 day sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and departments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the EMEA market and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles. You will be working closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be working with a range of stakeholders, from technical decision-makers to business leaders, to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Generate new business qualified opportunities by working with Tech Partners, SI Partners, and XDRs
  • Actively pitch the value proposition of Fivetran's Database replication capabilities and the Fivetran platform
  • Manage 90-180 day sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and departments to land in an enterprise organization
  • Negotiate responsible deals and manage the procurement process with legal, deal desk, and deal champions
  • Develop trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and senior decision-makers at large organizations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Enterprise segment
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales team to improve sales performance

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in new business sales, demonstrating a track record of success in selling to enterprise-level organizations
  • Strong understanding of the EMEA market and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles
  • Exceptional digital skills, including proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and senior decision-makers
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of data management and analytics
  • Experience working with Tech Partners, SI Partners, and XDRs
