## About the Role As a Senior Account Executive at Mixpanel, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth and leading high-growth tech clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building strong relationships with prospects and key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to win deals. You will be an integral part of the Enterprise team, covering companies with 201-1000 employees and focusing on high-growth tech companies that are changing the world. The role requires a deep understanding of Mixpanel's product and ecosystem, as well as the ability to leverage your prospecting skills to close new business. You will be working closely with internal partners such as Solutions Engineering to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of your clients. With a customer-focused mentality, you will approach all deals with a long-term consultative approach, developing relationships and uncovering the needs of multiple key stakeholders to find value moments. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be an ambassador for Mixpanel, driving awareness of the company's solution within the marketplace and handling inbound requests from interested prospects.
## What You Will Do - Prospect into new business units of targeted customer accounts and greenfield accounts, building and maintaining a pipeline while owning the sales cycle from start to finish.
- Drive awareness of Mixpanel as a solution within the marketplace and handle inbound requests from interested prospects.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records related to new business opportunities and deliver accurate weekly forecasts related to revenue targets.
- Approach all deals with a customer-focused mentality, developing relationships and uncovering the needs of multiple key stakeholders to find value moments.
- Sell with a long-term consultative approach, collaborating cross-functionally with key partners such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Legal.
- Intimately understand Mixpanel's competition and technology partners to consult customers on the company's place in the broader analytics market.
- Leverage your knowledge of Mixpanel's product and ecosystem to close new business and power the next generation of innovative companies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and expanding Mixpanel's customer base.
- Strong outbound prospector experience and success at closing net new business deals.
- Effective communicator and collaborator with strong interpersonal skills and excellent team player abilities.
