About the Role
Twilio is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join its team in the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. As a senior account executive, you will play a key role in driving the company's communication business across the region. Your primary focus will be on selling into high-value enterprise prospects and existing customers, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for sourcing new, high-value customers and driving the sales process from internal leads to qualifying new prospects and handling deals to closure.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of selling complex solutions to large enterprises. You will have a deep understanding of the communication industry and be able to navigate complex sales negotiations with ease. What You Will Do
- Source new, high-value customers and drive the sales process from internal leads to qualifying new prospects and handling deals to closure
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at existing customers to identify new sales opportunities
- Create pricing proposals, negotiate terms, and manage the contract process
- Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations to prospective customers
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Twilio's products and services
- Provide feedback to the product development team to improve product offerings
- Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry
- Achieve or exceed sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of selling complex solutions to large enterprises
- Strong experience identifying, mapping, and prospecting enterprise accounts
- Proven success in selling complex, technical solutions such as cloud communications platforms, APIs, and enterprise software
- Experience in account management, developing large enterprise clients, and a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience working with Fortune 500 or similarly large enterprises
- Background in working within a quota-driven environment with proven ability to close high-value deals
- Expertise in solution-based selling or consultative selling
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
