About the Role
The Senior Account Manager role at Keyloop is a key position that requires a unique blend of sales acumen, industry knowledge, and collaboration skills. As a senior member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and nurturing strategic relationships with key automotive clients. You will work closely with the Regional Sales Director and other cross-functional teams to achieve desired sales results. With a focus on digital transformation, you will help car dealers and manufacturers to fully embrace the latest technology and trends.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve building strong relationships with key decision makers, confidently driving and communicating the value proposition of Keyloop's solutions, and securing sales of services and solutions to automotive dealerships. You will also be responsible for managing contract negotiations, renewals, and upselling additional services. As a senior account manager, you will be expected to deliver on sales objectives, meet sales targets, and produce accurate forecasts.

What You Will Do
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers and confidently drive and communicate the value proposition of Keyloop's solutions
- Secure sales of services and solutions to automotive dealerships throughout your respective territory
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and upselling additional services
- Increase Keyloop's customer base and revenue by targeting, acquiring, and retaining clients
- Deliver on sales objectives as per the company's strategic and sales operating plans
- Meet sales targets through professional consultation and addressing the needs of the customer
- Produce Annual Sales Plans based on detailed whitespace analysis
- Provide daily and weekly updates of sales activity and pipeline in Salesforce
- Implement and utilize fully the Keyloop Sales Model & Core Processes
- Work closely with the broader Keyloop Team to ensure a joined-up approach and presentation to the customer of 'One Keyloop'
- Travel to client meetings and work from a home office with occasional visits to the Johannesburg office
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' sales experience in the automotive industry
- Experience of using AI in sales to enhance sales functionality and capability
- Highly computer literate with familiarity with CRM/SFA systems, particularly Salesforce
- Strong relationship building skills and a proven track record of sales growth
- Customer-focused with maturity and diplomacy to manage engagement at varied levels within target client organizations
- Self-driven, ambitious, resilient, highly motivated, competitive, and resourceful
- Excellent communication skills, especially around listening, questioning, and presenting
- Ability to implement a professional, structured sales approach incorporating prospecting, contact management, qualification, presentation, objection handling, and closing techniques
- Knowledge of dealership operational workflows and experience within the automotive sector
Nice to Have
- Experience with Excel and data analysis
- Familiarity with the Keyloop Sales Model & Core Processes
- Knowledge of the South African automotive market
- Certification in sales or a related field
- Experience working in a remote or home office environment
