About the Role
The Senior Account Strategist, Paid Media position at Directive is a client-facing role that requires a deep understanding of paid media campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. As a key member of the team, you will oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results for clients. Your expertise in campaign optimization, data analysis, and client communication will be crucial in driving referrals and building strong relationships with clients.The role entails working closely with internal stakeholders, including the Associate Director, to ensure that client goals are met and exceeded. You will be responsible for creating and managing custom client strategies, communicating with clients, and executing Paid Media deliverables. With a focus on Customer Generation, you will help clients achieve their SQL targets through comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
Directive's approach to performance marketing is centered around its proprietary methodology, which emphasizes the importance of SQLs and customers over traditional metrics. As a Senior Account Strategist, you will be at the forefront of this approach, leveraging your skills and expertise to drive results for clients.
What You Will Do
- Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results for clients
- Serve as direct support to client contacts, providing strategic guidance and expertise
- Develop and execute custom client strategies, aligning with Directive's Customer Generation methodology
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of Paid Media deliverables
- Drive referrals via client relationships and professional network, identifying new business opportunities
- Build and maintain budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels
- Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel to inform data-driven decisions
- Optimize PPC advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on tasks, work quality, and process improvements
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client positioning and unique value propositions
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience working at a performance or digital marketing agency
- Experience working with B2B SaaS or tech clients in an agency setting
- Deep expertise in paid search and paid social advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
- Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools, such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Strong understanding of PPC principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel
- Proven success in driving results and measuring performance via OCT
- A unique perspective on how to drive value for SaaS clients
- Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data

- Experience with Programmatic campaigns and their value proposition
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead routing
- Knowledge of AI and automation in marketing and operations
