About the Role

As a Senior Accountant at ElevenLabs, you will be an integral part of the company's core accounting function, responsible for managing key components of the monthly close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support. This high-ownership role will require you to work closely with the Controller and broader Finance function to build audit-ready processes as the company scales towards IPO readiness. What You Will Do

  • Own key components of the monthly close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support
  • Work closely with the Controller and broader Finance function to build audit-ready processes
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of US GAAP and its application to the company's financial reporting
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial statements
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls and SOX-ready accounting processes
  • Provide support for external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the development of the company's financial planning and budgeting processes

What We Are Looking For

  • CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification (active or actively in progress)
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and experience in a pre-IPO, IPO-stage, or public company environment
  • Exposure to building or contributing to internal controls and SOX-ready accounting processes
  • Proficiency with NetSuite or an equivalent ERP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

  • Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company
  • Familiarity with intercompany accounting, FX translation, and multi-entity consolidation
