Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Agentic Engineer plays a pivotal role in Webflow's mission to empower teams to design, launch, and optimize for the web without barriers. As a remote-first company, Webflow is dedicated to building the world's leading AI-native Digital Experience Platform. This position requires a skilled engineer who can operate as an embedded technical partner within the Engineering, Product & Design organization, helping shape the internal AI infrastructure and operational workflows. The role entails working closely with EPD teams to identify high-friction manual processes and turning them into reliable, AI-backed automations. Reporting to the Director of EPD Operations, this position is full-time and permanent, offering a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who value trust, transparency, and creativity. Webflow's vision for the future is one where the web, and work, is more open, more creative, and more equitable. By joining the team, you will contribute to this vision and help build a more accessible digital landscape.

What You Will Do

  • Build Agents and Automations for EPDI Operations: Design, build, and ship AI-powered agents and workflows that automate core operational processes across Engineering, Product, Design, and Insights.
  • Own the Internal Skills and Agent Library: Build and maintain a curated library of reusable AI skills and agents that EPDI teams can leverage out of the box.
  • Translate Operational Pain Points Into AI Workflows: Partner with EPD leaders and program teams to identify high-friction manual processes and turn them into reliable, AI-backed automations.
  • Own Full-Stack AI Builds End to End: From prototyping with APIs and webhooks to deploying internal services and integrations.
  • Document and Enable Adoption: Create clear documentation, guides, and demos that help both technical and non-technical teammates adopt, trust, and troubleshoot the tools you build.
  • Run Applied AI Experiments: Lead hands-on R&D with context engineering, RAG architectures, and emerging agent frameworks.
  • Drive Responsible AI Practices: Track usage, flag risks, and support responsible evaluation as AI becomes embedded deeper into how EPDI operates.

What We Are Looking For

  • Business-level fluency to read, write, and speak in English.
  • 4-6+ years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, internal tooling, or a technical program/operations role.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
  • Experience with AI, machine learning, or related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Webflow's technology stack or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Certification in AI, machine learning, or a related field.

Benefits and Perks

  • Opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who value trust, transparency, and creativity.
  • Flexible working hours and remote work options.
  • Access to the latest technologies and tools.
  • Professional development opportunities and support for ongoing education and growth.
  • Comprehensive health insurance and wellbeing programs.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays.

How to Stand Out

  • Highlight your experience with automation, AI tooling, and full-stack development in your application.
  • Showcase your problem-solving skills by providing specific examples of how you've applied AI to solve operational challenges.
  • Emphasize your ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
  • Prepare to discuss your understanding of responsible AI practices and how you've implemented them in previous roles.
