About the Role

The Senior AI Engineer Architect position at Lemon.io is a remote opportunity that offers the chance to work with a variety of cutting-edge AI technologies and collaborate with a community of skilled developers from over 75 countries. This role is ideal for experienced AI engineers who are looking for a challenging and rewarding position that allows them to apply their skills to real-world problems. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI solutions that meet the needs of Lemon.io's clients, which include startups in the US and Europe.

Day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with clients to understand their requirements, designing and developing AI models, and integrating these models into larger systems. You will also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from natural language processing to computer vision, and will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop AI models and systems that meet the needs of Lemon.io's clients
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
  • Work with a variety of AI technologies, including Python, LangChain, and large language models (LLMs)
  • Develop and maintain large-scale AI systems, including data pipelines and model deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and design
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of AI and machine learning
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for AI systems and models
  • Troubleshoot and debug AI systems and models as needed
  • Develop and implement testing and validation procedures for AI models and systems

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of commercial experience applying AI to practical technology solutions
  • A solid understanding of Python and experience with other programming languages commonly used in AI
  • Experience with Vector Databases, Pinecone, or Weaviate
  • 2+ years of experience with LangChain
  • 2+ years of experience with large language models (LLMs) or vLLMs
  • 2+ years of experience with RAG or OpenAI
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to create projects from scratch and a deep understanding of application architecture
  • Clear and effective communication in English, including the ability to discuss business tasks, justify decisions, and communicate issues
  • Good self-presentation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Strong self-organizational skills, including the ability to work full-time remotely with no supervision

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multi-agent systems architecture, AI agent orchestration, and AI telemetry
  • Familiarity with AI API integration and Claude Cowork
  • Knowledge of Make.com, n8n, or Zapier
  • Experience with workflow automation and webhooks
  • Familiarity with SQL and experience with database management
