About the Role

The Senior AI Engineer position at Lemon.io is a rare opportunity for talented professionals to apply their skills in AI to drive real-world solutions. As a key member of the team, you will be working closely with startups to develop and implement AI-powered projects that transform businesses. Your expertise in Python, LangChain, and large language models will be crucial in delivering high-quality results.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI models that meet the needs of Lemon.io's clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI adoption, develop project plans, and ensure seamless execution. Your technical expertise will be complemented by your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop AI-powered solutions using Python, LangChain, and large language models
  • Collaborate with startups to identify opportunities for AI adoption and develop project plans
  • Develop and deploy AI models that meet the needs of clients
  • Communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for AI projects
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of commercial experience applying AI to practical technology solutions
  • A solid understanding of Python and experience with other programming languages commonly used in AI
  • Experience with Vector Databases, Pinecone, or Weaviate
  • 2+ years of experience with LangChain
  • 2+ years of experience with large language models (LLMs) or vLLMs
  • 2+ years of experience with RAG or OpenAI
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to create projects from scratch and a deep understanding of application architecture
  • Clear and effective communication in English, with the ability to discuss business tasks, justify decisions, and communicate issues
  • Good self-presentation skills for client calls
  • Strong self-organizational skills, with the ability to work full-time remotely with no supervision
  • Reliability and adaptability, with the ability to onboard projects promptly and start delivering results quickly

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI Agent Architecture, AI Automation Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related fields
  • Familiarity with React, Golang, Java, Ruby, or other programming languages
  • Knowledge of DevOps, MLOps, Data Science, or related fields
  • Experience with project management, product management, or QA automation
