About the Role

The Senior AI Vertical Mini-Series Director role at EverAI is a freelance position that involves overseeing the end-to-end production of short drama series. As a director, you will be responsible for bringing a unique vision to life, working closely with AI tools and a team of creatives to produce high-quality content. The role is perfect for those who are passionate about storytelling, AI-generated media, and collaborating with others to achieve a common goal.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve directing, editing, and finishing episodes, as well as working with the AI copilot to ensure character consistency and casting. You will also be collaborating with the tech team, other short film directors, and the executive team to ensure the series is of the highest quality.

What You Will Do

  • Direct 1-2 series at a time, each consisting of 10-15 episodes and a trailer
  • Work closely with the AI copilot to ensure character consistency, casting, and trailer generation
  • Direct, edit, and finish each episode, ensuring high-quality production values
  • Collaborate with the AI content creators, tech team, other short film directors, and executive team to achieve a common vision
  • Develop and maintain strong communication and collaborative skills to ensure seamless workflow
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI tools and technologies to continuously improve the production process
  • Use Excel skills to manage data and track progress
  • Participate in the planning, strategy, and execution of the series, taking ownership of the project and its goals
  • Work closely with the team to ensure speedy and efficient production, always looking for ways to improve and iterate

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
  • Strong scripting instincts and an understanding of storytelling principles
  • Familiarity with AI generation tools and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
