About the Role
The Senior Analyst - Compensation & People Analytics role at Mercury is a critical position that will help shape the company's compensation philosophy and people analytics strategy. What You Will Do
- Partner closely with recruiting, people partners, and finance teams to provide compensation guidance and support
- Develop and maintain compensation programs, including annual merit cycles, market analyses, and off-cycle reviews
- Analyze and interpret people analytics data to inform compensation decisions and identify trends
- Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leaders on compensation and people analytics matters
- Lead efforts to educate employees on compensation philosophy and practices
- Develop and implement a people analytics strategy to drive business outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new compensation programs and initiatives
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support compensation and people analytics efforts
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in compensation, people analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
- Experience working with HR systems, analytics tools, and compensation software
- Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a high-growth, scaling company
- Knowledge of people analytics tools and software, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics
- Certification in compensation or people analytics, such as CCP or GPHR
