About the Role
The Senior Analyst - IT-applications role at Ciena is a critical position that entails managing and improving the company's Oracle EBS and GTM systems. As a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable solutions in logistics and distribution, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive projects forward. What You Will Do
- Design and implement robust and scalable solutions in logistics and distribution using Oracle cloud OTM, GTM, order management, warehouse management, and inventory capabilities
- Lead the identification of opportunities for improvement in Oracle EBS applications and interfaces
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Supply Chain and Logistics Business Users, external implementation teams, and internal IT Teams
- Provide support for OTM, GTM, Order Management, and inventory configurations, including troubleshooting issues and delivering timely fixes
- Develop and implement custom applications, forms, and reports in Oracle EBS modules
- Work with business owners to capture requirements and convert them into technical design documents
- Participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality solutions
- Deliver solutions in a timely manner, ensuring satisfaction of internal customers
- Identify root causes of issues and debug problems in a timely and efficient manner
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including Oracle SR documentation and information requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in providing Oracle EBS development, with a strong preference for R12.2.x experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS base tables and views in SCM modules, including Procurement, OM, Purchasing, Inventory, WMS, and Shipping
- Experience with Oracle EBS open interface APIs, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms Developer, and Oracle workflow
- Advanced skills in SQL and PL/SQL programming
- Familiarity with O2S and P2P cycles
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written, electronic, and verbal communication
- Sound reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving aptitude, with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience working with Agile and Jira is preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.x
- Knowledge of 3PL and Logistics Management
- Familiarity with XML Publisher and OAF
- Experience with Oracle cloud OTM and GTM
