About the Role
Reddit's Apps Platform works as a platform team for all other mobile engineers, providing libraries, APIs, frameworks, and monitoring performance. The team owns core components of the app, such as the networking and caching stack, and sets the direction for the codebase.Responsibilities
The Senior Android Engineer will help improve developer efficiency, build shared components, and innovate new processes to support a growing number of customers.Requirements
- Expertise in Java or Kotlin with 5+ years of experience in Android development
- Sound software engineering fundamentals
- Experience building at least one amazing Android app from start to shipment
- Willingness to learn new ways to build software and passion for developing scalable, well-designed software
