About the Role

The Senior Application Engineer role at Mozilla is a key position that supports the company's ERP system and manages the delivery of NetSuite initiatives and business processes. Mozilla IT is seeking a highly skilled and proactive NetSuite Application Engineer to join its IT team. This role involves managing the ERP ecosystem, covering financial planning, record-to-report, order-to-cash, and financial reporting, as well as integrations and automations. What You Will Do

  • Plan, review, and revise functional configuration, customizations, automation, and enhancements, system maintenance, and business process testing.
  • Build and maintain reporting, integrations, and automation workflows to improve data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Research and resolve issues, design new workflows, and provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Provide thought leadership in best practices and provide solutions to drive business success.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest technology and software for integration to improve the process and user interaction with the systems.
  • Lead new releases, test updates, and effectively roll out new features to ensure seamless adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and training.
  • Participate in the development of business cases and proposals to support new initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in ERP systems and NetSuite.
  • Proven expertise in managing ERP ecosystems, including financial planning, record-to-report, order-to-cash, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in NetSuite, middleware, and custom Python scripts.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to analyze and improve them.
  • Experience with integration and automation workflows, including reporting and data flow.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT principles, including security, data management, and software development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based ERP systems and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence principles.
