About the Role
The Senior Application Integration Engineer role at Leidos is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of digital systems integration, identity management, and cloud deployment. As part of the Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA) program, the successful candidate will work with a team of engineers, developers, and system administrators to design, develop, and test integration solutions for the United States Department of Defense. The team's mission is to increase the speed of the development cycle and get capabilities to the warfighter more rapidly.The role entails collaborating with various stakeholders to identify integration requirements, designing and developing solutions, and testing and deploying integrated systems. The Senior Application Integration Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with security protocols and permission models. The team is dynamic, and the candidate should be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
The TENA program is a key initiative for Leidos, and the Senior Application Integration Engineer will play a vital role in its success. The program aims to develop tools for the test and training communities, and the candidate will be responsible for integrating commercial and government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) applications into the Identity Management Framework.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and test TENA Identity Management tools, including Keycloak and LDAP
- Integrate commercial and GOTS applications into the Identity Management Framework
- Perform security analysis as part of the analysis of alternatives to highlight performance and security implications
- Help manage on-premise and cloud instances of the Identity Management tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify integration requirements
- Design and develop solutions to meet integration requirements
- Test and deploy integrated systems
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and permission models
- Work with the team to identify and mitigate potential security risks
- Develop and maintain documentation of integration solutions
What We Are Looking For
- US Citizen with at least an active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and reviewing single sign-on systems for on-premise and cloud deployments
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Experience integrating Active Directory and OpenLDAP
- Design, code, and test Keycloak extensions
- Experience integrating Atlassian applications with other commercial web applications
- Strong understanding of identity management principles and protocols
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of experience with Integration with Active Directory and OpenLDAP
- 3+ years of experience in Design, Code, and Test Keycloak extensions
- 5+ years of experience integrating Atlassian applications with other commercial web applications
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of cloud-based identity management solutions
