Your expertise will be crucial in resolving complex issues, improving system reliability, and driving permanent fixes across application, infrastructure, and data layers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud architectures, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, and proficiency in German and English. You will be working in a high-pressure production environment, so excellent communication skills, a strong ownership mindset, and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure the continuous availability and reliability of mission-critical applications by owning production incidents end-to-end and keeping stakeholders informed with clear, timely communication
  • Diagnose complex issues across distributed systems using logs, metrics, and traces, driving permanent fixes across application, infrastructure, and data layers
  • Support and troubleshoot Azure environments, including App Services, AKS, Functions, and Storage, while working with Infrastructure as Code concepts to ensure consistent and stable deployments
  • Strengthen observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, improving alert quality and contributing to meaningful SLIs, SLOs, and reliability metrics
  • Safeguard integrations by debugging REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication flows, webhooks, queues, and third-party services
  • Investigate data-related issues using SQL and backend code analysis to resolve inconsistencies, support corrections, and protect system integrity
  • Reduce incident frequency by automating repetitive tasks with Python, Bash, or PowerShell and continuously improving internal tools and operational processes
  • Proactively identify stability risks and optimize systems by refining runbooks, internal tooling, and support workflows
  • Scale team effectiveness by maintaining clear documentation, contributing to knowledge bases, and supporting onboarding and mentoring

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting production SaaS or cloud applications, with strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems
  • Proficiency in German (B2/C1) and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of cloud architectures and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Infrastructure as Code concepts
  • Solid knowledge of APIs, HTTP fundamentals, authentication flows, and practical API troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and debug backend code to identify and resolve production issues
  • Experience with monitoring and observability, using logs, metrics, and traces to investigate incidents
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and data-related issue resolution
  • Practical experience with scripting and automation, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

  • Support experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift and basic cloud networking
  • Familiarity with API and integration tooling and event-driven systems
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools for debugging and automation

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Opportunity to work with a leading European financial services provider on a modern, cloud-native SaaS platform
  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a dedicated team
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
  • Flexible working hours and remote work arrangements
  • Access to the latest tools and technologies
  • Recognition and reward for outstanding performance

How to Stand Out
