About the Role
The Senior Associate, Institutional Giving role at Team Rubicon is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to creating lasting impact. As a key member of the Development x Institutional Giving team, you will play a critical role in developing and advancing strategic fundraising goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include researching and identifying new grant opportunities, building relationships with donors, and creating high-quality proposals and reports.The Development x Institutional Giving team is a tight-knit group of professionals passionate about making a difference. You will be working closely with the team to inform proposals, access grant opportunities, and ensure timely and accurate reporting. What You Will Do
- Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to achieve institutional giving goals
- Research and identify new grant opportunities, including foundation, corporate, and government grants
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Create high-quality proposals, reports, and other materials to support fundraising efforts
- Collaborate with the Development x Institutional Giving team to inform proposals and access grant opportunities
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including grant reports and progress updates
- Analyze and interpret data to inform fundraising strategies and evaluate program effectiveness
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Team Rubicon's programs and services
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in institutional giving
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in institutional giving, grant writing, or a related field
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to create compelling proposals and reports
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Experience with grant management software and databases
- Knowledge of foundation, corporate, and government funding priorities and trends
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as non-profit management, communications, or marketing
