About the Role
The Senior Associate, Strategic Finance role at Ramp is a critical position that requires a unique blend of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills. As a key member of the Strategic Finance team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, optimizing financial performance, and informing key strategic decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, GTM, and business leadership, to develop and implement financial models, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.The Strategic Finance team at Ramp is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a high degree of autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. As a Senior Associate, you will be expected to take ownership of complex projects, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, and drive results-oriented solutions.

What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and financial data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, including investors, customers, and vendors
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to optimize financial performance
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and metrics to measure business performance
- Work closely with business leaders to develop and implement strategic plans, and drive accountability and results
- Manage company performance against financial targets, and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain internal tools and systems to improve financial efficiency and accuracy
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, VC/PE, or corporate finance at a top-tier technology company
- Excellent financial modeling and quantitative/data analysis skills
- Extreme attention to detail, with a high regard for precision and accuracy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
- Track record of developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners
- A "get things done" mentality, with the ability to work independently and drive results-oriented solutions
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting to evolving priorities
- Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
Nice to Have
- Expertise with Looker, SQL, and/or Python
- Systems thinking, with the ability to design processes to be reliable, scalable, and maintainable
- Curiosity about AI tools, with prior experience a plus but not required
- Experience with data visualization and presentation tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
