About the Role
The Senior AutoCAD 2D Design Drafter will prepare, coordinate, and manage high-quality mechanical services drawings and documentation using AutoCAD for a construction-led design consultancy firm.Responsibilities
- Drafting and Documentation: Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for mechanical services, including air conditioning, ventilation, exhaust systems, plant rooms, and ductwork layouts.
- Produce drawings for concept design, design development, and tender documentation stages.
- Prepare mechanical layouts, schematics, equipment schedules, and detail drawings based on engineering direction.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of building services design, particularly mechanical HVAC systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering concepts and translate them into coordinated construction documentation.
